Opal and Onyx was born from both.
Two women on opposite sides of Australia - one in the West, one in the East - met by chance and recognised the same vision. To create an Australian crystal wholesaler that values its relationships as deeply as its products. To source with integrity. To lead with heart. And to help more people in Australia (and beyond) access new-to-market, high-quality, high-energy crystals, minerals and ritual-based products.
This is how Opal and Onyx came to be.
How Our Paths Came Together......
Dawn
I’ve spent almost two decades immersed in the world of crystals. As the owner of a crystal retail business and sound-healing retreat space in Perth, my life is dedicated to helping people connect with the beauty, energy, and transformational qualities of crystals. My work with the Pyramids of Chi in Indonesia has deepened my relationships within the global crystal community and strengthened my connection to wellness businesses across Australia and beyond.
I am committed to sourcing meaningful, high-quality pieces and products with opulence. I deeply appreciate the connections we share along the supply chain – from our suppliers and artisans to our retail and practitioner community. I know the power of community: a coming together built on trust, intention and integrity and I love knowing that together, we are redefining how people interact with crystals. - Dawn

I completely share Dawn’s deep passion for crystals and community. I also have a strong calling to re-shape the way crystal wholesalers interact with retailers and practitioners. My background has included sacred gridding, intuitive artwork infused with light codes and a solid history in business management. Through direct experience, I’ve seen a clear gap in crystal wholesaling in Australia. There is a strong need to raise the standard in support, education and person-to-person service.
Australian wellness businesses and crystal retailers also deserve greater access to new-to-market, high-quality, high-energy products. And they deserve reliable guidance, sourcing transparency, merchandising support, and genuine human connection. - Amy
A Chance Meeting That Changed Everything!
We met by chance on the Gold Coast and something sparked.
Over the years, we’ve both worked closely with crystals, retail spaces and the people who bring these pieces into their communities. We’ve seen how powerful crystals can be: not only as beautiful objects, but as meaningful tools for wellness, ritual, and connection.
We know that behind every retail store, wellness business and healing practitioner is a desire to create experiences that feel transformative, intentional, and deeply human.
And yet, so many retailers were navigating inconsistent stock, unclear communication, rushed service and a lack of genuine relationship with their suppliers. Wholesale felt transactional, when it could be so much more.
We recognised the same truth:
Australian retailers deserve a wholesale partner who leads with care, intention, and integrity.
Together, we knew we could do something different. Lead with intention. Choose our pieces thoughtfully. And build and nurture relationships for the long term.
This became the foundation of Opal | Onyx.
