Before there was a warehouse, a website, or our wider Opal Onyx team, we were on a
journey to get to the heart of where Australian wholesale crystals are unearthed.
We boarded planes, got lost in big cities and remote places (and exhausted the help of our
translator app!). We had days that made us question ‘what are we doing here’? In the world of all things crystals, we were feeling quite raw and a little bit tumbled!
But we sat. We drank tea. We came back to the heart and our intention, and the journey has seen us connect with our supply community in ways we never thought possible.
We sat with artisans and suppliers in their homes and workshops. We met their families,
shared meals, listened to their stories and witnessed the generations of craftsmanship
behind their pieces and products. We then made a decision about where to source the
pieces we’re bringing home, to the hearts and hands of our retailer partners and practitioners in Australian crystal wholesaling.
We believe that integrity starts with a hands-on approach. Meaning that we need to
hand choose our pieces and products and meet the suppliers, artisans and people
who are at the core of our supply chain.
We aren’t a business built on transactional energy. We’re built on meaningful connection,
heart-to-heart support and creating and nurturing our relationships all the way along the
supply chain.
We believe that Australian crystal wholesaling, and Australian wellness businesses –
including the ritual and healing based practitioners, deserve a higher standard of care and
support. And we’re here to deliver just that.
